Mount St. Mary Academy Athletics – Go Belles!
Sports can teach you a lot about yourself – they expose your abilities, show your vulnerabilities – and challenge both body and spirit. Here at Mount St. Mary, sports help you build a strong sense of self-confidence, and a stronger community, and they push you to be your best both on and off the court or the field.
Our athletes compete at a high level. The Mount St. Mary Academy athletic program is recognized by the Arkansas Activities Association in the 7-A division, the largest in Arkansas. Participation in athletics promotes a love of the game and builds a strong school community where every young woman learns what it takes to work hard, play with integrity, and to be a team player.
Girls who attend single-sex schools are much more inclined to leave the stands as spectators and join a team as players. Over the past two decades, this participation has brought our athletic program much success, including state championship or runner-up titles in soccer, tennis, and golf. Each year a number of Mount St. Mary students sign letters of intent to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level.
If you would like more information about a particular sport or would be interested in participating, please feel free to contact the coach of that specific team.
