Thank you for your interest in Mount St. Mary Academy, a college-preparatory Catholic high school nestled in the heart of Little Rock! Founded in 1851 by the Sisters of Mercy, we’re proud to be the oldest continuously operated school in Arkansas. At Mount, you will find a unique environment – one exclusively for girls! Our faculty, parents, administration and staff are all bonded by our mission to build a strong moral and intellectual foundation for our students in order to fully prepare them to meet the future as women of wisdom, compassion, and integrity.

Mount Girls are driven by service, given opportunities to discover and create, encouraged to be self-starters and ethical leaders, and guided in developing analytical skills and original thought. Our students surprise a lot of people with the skills they develop, and often those most surprised, at first, are the girls themselves. Our supportive, yet challenging all-girls Catholic learning environment provides a platform where young women can build confidence as they grow academically and spiritually. With a solid foundation built upon scholarly habits, faith, and personal values, nearly 100 percent of each graduating class goes on to pursue a college education each year.
