Clubs and Organizations

There are so many clubs and organizations for girls to get involved with at Mount St. Mary Academy. Interested in the stock market? Manage a real-life investment portfolio with Investment Club. Skilled at debate? Gain real-world experience while working to solve issues such as gender equality, climate action, global health, and more with Model UN. You can travel to historic sites in Europe with the Belles Abroad travel program, help care for an active beehive on campus with the HoneyBelles Bee Club, work to strengthen inclusivity through the Diversity Club, show prospective students what it’s like to be a Mount Girl as a Belles Ambassador, and so much more!

Some clubs and organizations are open to all grades, and some are open to specific grades. Some require an application, minimum grade point, or course enrollment to be accepted, and for others, you just show up to the first meeting to participate. For a few, you must be elected by faculty or fellow class members. No matter how or when you join, participation in clubs and organizations is strongly encouraged at the Mount and allows you to explore your interests and develop your talents. In fact, we believe so strongly in the benefits of getting involved that we have built-in activity periods throughout the week that give all students regularly scheduled time to attend club meetings and similar activities.
