The VolleyBelles finished the 2023 season at the top of the 5A Central Conference standings with a 13-1 record (20-8 overall), which earned them the conference championship trophy for the second year in a row and a top seed in the 5A State Volleyball Tournament that began Tuesday, October 24, at Searcy High School.
The conference champion Belles defeated Batesville 3-0 in the opening round of the state tournament, then outlasted Lakeside the following day by a score of 3-2. However, the Volley Belles fell 3-0 to Greenwood in the Oct. 26 semis.
In addition to winning the conference championship and advancing deep in the state tournament, the VolleyBelles earned several other awards during their season this year, including:
- All Conference 1st Team: Ella Ward, Elizabeth Arnold, Hannah Wherry, Lyla Tong
- All Conference 2nd team: Izzy Crane, Savannah Bosley, Samantha Smith, Ella Nelson
- Outstanding 6A Coach: Jason Lambert
- All State: Ella Ward and Hannah Wherry
- All Star Nominations: Ella Ward and Elizabeth Arnold
