The most exciting assembly of the year – Lip Sync – kicked off with a special announcement for one lucky senior. Keith Caldarera and Reece Hancock with McLarty Automotive Group, along with crew members from KATV Channel 7, made a surprise visit at the March 19 event to present Cassie Clark ’25 with one of the company’s $2,500 McLarty Drives Education college scholarships.
Cassie has excelled in the classroom and currently has a 4.2 GPA. She is also active on campus, including serving as vice president of the Bring Change to Mind mental health awareness club and captain of the Belles’ varsity softball team. Her future plans include majoring in psychology at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
The McLarty Drives Education scholarship program awards students who demonstrate excellence both in the classroom and in the community. Students who display their drive for learning, compassion for others, as well as utilize their high-standing character in the community are nominated for the scholarship. Nine $2,500 scholarships are awarded to selected students, one each month of the school year.
